CEMS-global announces four healthcare expos in Dhaka
CEMS-Global USA, in association with CEMS Bangladesh, will host a series of international exhibitions on healthcare, medical equipment, and health tourism from 7 to 9 May 2026 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Kuril, Dhaka.
The initiative aims to strengthen Bangladesh's position as a regional hub for medical technology and health services.
The exhibitions will be open daily from 10am to 7pm.
A press conference on the upcoming events was held on 21 April 2026 at the CEMS Bangladesh office.
The briefing was presided over by Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific.
Notable attendees included Tanveer Qamrul Islam, Executive Director; Abhishek Das, Group Director of CEMS-Global; and Asraful Islam, AGM for Business Development and Strategic Planning at CEMS Bangladesh.
The exhibitions will feature the 17th Meditex Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, the 10th Bangladesh Clinical Lab Expo 2026, and the 12th Pharma Bangladesh 2026 International Expo, all to be held at ICCB's Noboratri Hall 4.
In parallel, the 9th International Health Tourism & Services Expo Bangladesh 2026 will take place at ICCB's Rajdarshan Hall 3.
According to organisers, these concurrent exhibitions will serve as a comprehensive platform for industry stakeholders, facilitating interaction between buyers and suppliers and promoting knowledge exchange and technological advancement.
They stated that the events are expected to further strengthen Bangladesh's position in the global healthcare and medical technology market.
The exhibitions will showcase an extensive range of products and services, including medical equipment, surgical instruments, pharmaceuticals, diagnostic devices, hospital supplies, and health tourism services.
More than 90 companies from over 15 countries—including India, Pakistan, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, the UAE, Nepal, Singapore, Türkiye, South Korea, Morocco, Thailand, Malaysia, and Bangladesh—are expected to participate.
Organisers stated that more than 150 exhibitors will be featured across approximately 500 booths.
Notable participants include CFC-SIBL Reproductive Health Initiative, Healthcare Diagnostic Solutions, BTL Medical Devices Bangladesh Ltd, Medipack Technologies Ltd, Alive Healthcare, and others.
The exhibitions will also host a series of international seminars on industry trends and innovations.
Organisers stated that ensuring access to quality, affordable healthcare requires the optimal combination of skilled professionals, appropriate medical facilities, and reliable services.
In this regard, they noted that the Health Tourism Expo will serve as a one-stop platform connecting patients with trusted healthcare providers both locally and internationally.
