BUP film fest 2025 concludes with grand closing ceremony

The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organised the Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony of the two-day long 'BUP Film Fest-2025' on 02 February 2025 at Bijoy Auditorium.

The fest was arranged to educate young filmmakers on film-related issues and encourage them in filmmaking. In the fest, 450 participants from 40 renowned public and private universities contended in six categories: Short Film, Cosplay, Script Writing, Documentary, AD Making and Cine Quiz. BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, BSP, NDC, afwc, PSC, MPhil, PhD graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. 

Khawaja Naim Murad, a popular Bangladeshi film actor of the 1990s, was the Special Guest. Other guests included BUP high officials, faculty members, and students.
