BRAC Bank trains women entrepreneurs in narsingdi on digital skills

BRAC Bank, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN), organised a three-day training programme in Narsingdi from 9 to 11 September 2025 for 30 women entrepreneurs, equipping them with digital skills to accelerate business growth.
The training, held at the Cooperative Zonal Institute, provided intensive mentorship, capacity building, and networking to help participants grow their ventures, reach wider markets, and inspire more women to pursue entrepreneurship.
The initiative was conducted under Amrai TARA, BRAC Bank's flagship women's entrepreneurship programme, supported by the Gates Foundation. In addition to financial literacy and mentorship, BdOSN experts trained participants in digital strategies to leverage rapidly growing platforms such as e-commerce and social media commerce.
Guests at the programme included Munir Hasan, President of BdOSN, and Kazi Dilruba Akter, Head of Cottage and Micro Business, SME Banking at BRAC Bank.
Syed Abdul Momen, Additional Managing Director and Head of SME Banking at BRAC Bank, commented: "Women entrepreneurs play a vital role in promoting inclusive economic growth.
