BRAC Bank promotes M. Masud Rana to Additional Managing Director

BRAC Bank has announced the promotion of M. Masud Rana FCA, currently Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, to the position of Additional Managing Director (AMD), effective 1 August 2025.
Since joining BRAC Bank in October 2019, Masud Rana has played a pivotal role in shaping the bank's financial strategy, governance, and operational excellence. With over 29 years of professional experience across public accounting, textile, pharmaceutical, and banking sectors, he has established himself as a key leader driving innovation, sustainability, and inclusiveness within the institution.
Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO (Current Charge) of BRAC Bank, alongside the senior management team, congratulated Rana on his promotion. Masud Rana began his career at SF Ahmed & Co. and has held senior positions at BEXIMCO Garments & Textile Division, Sanofi-Aventis, Standard Chartered Bangladesh—where he served as CFO—and Dhaka Bank, also as CFO. His strategic foresight, deep industry knowledge, and strong ethical foundation are widely respected.
He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and holds both Honours and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Dhaka.
