BRAC Bank opens two new sub-branches in Shariatpur
BRAC Bank has inaugurated two new sub-branches in Shariatpur District, expanding its nationwide network to 107 sub-branches.
The new outlets, located in Sakhipur Union of Naria Upazila and Vojeshwar Union of Bhedarganj Upazila, were inaugurated on 23 October 2025, by Md Muniruzzaman Molla, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Operations of BRAC Bank.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by A K M Tareq, Senior Zonal Head (North); Borhan Uddin, Head of Sub-branches; Nakib Zaman, Regional Head; and other senior officials from the bank's Distribution Network.
The new sub-branches will provide both individual and business customers with convenient access to a wide range of smart banking services. This initiative is part of BRAC Bank's multi-channel distribution strategy, aimed at extending quality banking services nationwide.
The sub-branches will offer a full suite of modern banking services—including account opening, cash transactions, deposit pension schemes, fund transfers (EFTN and RTGS), remittance, utility bill payments, debit and credit cards, consumer loans, student file management, chequebook processing, Astha App registration, and school banking—excluding foreign exchange services.
With the addition of these new outlets, BRAC Bank's network now comprises 298 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME Unit Offices, and 1,119 Agent Banking Outlets—solidifying its position as one of the largest and most accessible banking networks in Bangladesh.
