BPCCI elects new President, Vice President

Raquib Md Fakhrul (Rocky), managing director of Munshi HR Solutions Ltd and managing director of Munshi Group, and Dr Carmen Z Lamagne, professor at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), have been elected president and vice president respectively of the Bangladesh-Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BPCCI) for the 2026-27 term.

They were elected at the chamber's ninth annual general meeting, held on Monday, 30 March, 2026.

The other elected directors are Kazi Shah Muzakker Ahmadul Hoque, director of Total Air Services Ltd; Sifat Ahmed Chowdhuri, director of ABM Trading and Formulation Ltd; Rabb H Majumder, editor and publisher of The Security; Shah Shafiqul Islam, managing director of Abul Khair Steel Melting Limited; Ashaab Hassan, project coordinator of Giant Group; Md Anisuzzaman, CEO of Pinoy Travels; Carlin Noellezita Lamagna, senior assistant professor and deputy director of the Department of Economics at American International University-Bangladesh; and Khorshed Alam, proprietor and CEO of Niloy Knitwork.
