BOU conducts training on nursery management and duty conscientiousness

A day-long training programme on "Nursery Management and Duty Commitment" was held today, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Lecture Gallery of the Central Conference and Training Centre on the Gazipur campus of Bangladesh Open University (BOU).

The programme was presided over by Professor Dr Serazul Islam, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of BOU. He stated that under the direct guidance of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A B M Obaidul Islam, this training aims to enhance the professional skills of the gardeners and cleaning staff working on campus.
The goal is to ensure that they can perform their assigned tasks individually or in groups in an organised manner, thereby increasing the efficiency of their work. The hands-on training is also expected to improve overall cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and a pleasant work environment across BOU's campus, schools, divisions, and offices.
