BNCC Director General visits  Green University

Brigadier General Abu Sayed Al Masud, BGBMS, PBGMS, ndc, psc, Director General of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), paid an official visit to Green University of Bangladesh.

He arrived at the university's Purbachal American City campus on Saturday (May 17) at 11:00 AM.

Upon his arrival, the university's Registrar, Captain (BN) Sheikh Mohammad Salahuddin (Retd.), warmly received him. A guard of honour was also presented in his recognition on behalf of the GUB BNCC Unit.

During the visit, Brigadier General Abu Sayed Al Masud held an interactive session with the university's BNCC unit cadets. Addressing the young cadets, he encouraged them to focus on self-development and patriotism and to grow into capable and ethical future leaders. He stated, "You are not just students, you are the promising assets of this nation. With confidence and discipline, you must lead the country forward."

University Registrar Captain (BN) Sheikh Mohammad Salahuddin (Retd.) also addressed the gathering. He remarked, "BNCC is not merely an organisation; it is a training ground of values where students learn how to lead and contribute to the nation. We are proud that the students of Green University are getting this opportunity."

Later, the BNCC Director-General met with Professor Dr Mohammad Shorif Uddin, Vice Chancellor of Green University, and Professor Dr Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice-Chancellor. GUB Treasurer Professor Dr Fayzur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, and Lieutenant Commander Faisal Bin Rashid, Officer-in-Charge of the BNCC Naval Wing, along with other faculty members and administrative officials, were also present during the meeting.

After the visit, both parties exchanged crests as a token of goodwill and discussed potential future collaboration and joint initiatives.
