BKSP wins BRAC Bank women's development cup hockey 2025

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) has emerged as the BRAC Bank Women's Development Cup Hockey 2025 champion.
In the final, the BKSP Team scored 8-0 against Kishoreganj to clinch the title at the Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium on March 22, 2025.
Under the patronage of BRAC Bank, the Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) organized the tournament, "BRAC Bank Women's Development Cup Hockey 2025," to promote women's hockey in the country.
In the final, Kishoreganj forward Fardia Akter Ratri was adjudged as the tournament's best player. BKSP's Arpita, also captain of the Bangladesh women's team, grabbed the top-scorer title of the tournament with 30 goals to her credit.
Bangladesh Hockey Federation President Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan and BRAC Bank Chairperson Meheriar M. Hasan distributed prizes among the teams. BHF General Secretary Lt Col (retd.) Riazul Hasan was also present.
Ten district-level teams and BKSP participated in the tournament, which ran from March 11 to 22, 2025, featuring 28 matches. The participating teams included Dinajpur, Jashore, Chattogram, Patuakhali, Rajshahi, Jhenaidah, Thakurgaon, Rangpur, Cumilla, and Kishoreganj, alongside BKSP. These teams were divided into two groups for the competition. Matches occurred at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium and the Bangladesh Air Force field in Kurmitola.
This initiative represents a significant advancement for BRAC Bank in its commitment to promoting sports. By fostering a supportive environment, the bank actively contributes to developing women's sports and empowering future generations of female athletes.
