BIMOX 2025 maritime and offshore expo kicks off in Dhaka
 
The Bangladesh International Marine & Offshore Expo (BIMOX) 2025, the country's largest international exhibition for the maritime and offshore industry, was inaugurated yesterday at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.
Organised by Savor International Limited, the three-day event showcases the latest developments in shipbuilding, ship recycling, ship repairs, marine engineering, offshore technology, dredging equipment and port and logistics services.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa, OSP, NPP, rcds, afwc, psc, PhD, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations), Bangladesh Navy. Special guests included Rear Admiral Md Ziaul Hoque, OSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Director General, Bangladesh Coast Guard; Masud Ali Khan, Vice-President, Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Edgars Dzenis, Director, Rigas Dizelis DG; Capt Md Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan, AFNI, Chairman, GroupNautika and former Chairman, The Nautical Institute of Bangladesh; and Md Faizul Alam, Managing Director, Savor International Limited.
The exhibition features cutting-edge maritime innovations and technologies, alongside international B2B and B2G meetings, seminars and panel discussions with participation from top industry leaders from Bangladesh and abroad.
