BICM holds investor education programme for AIUB business students
Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) organised an investor education programme titled 'Investment in Capital Market' for students of the Faculty of Business Administration at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) on 13 August (Thursday)
The programme was held at BICM's Multipurpose Hall and was jointly organised by BICM and the Finance Club of AIUB, according to a press release.
BICM Executive President Wajid Hasan Shah attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. Senior Assistant Professor of AIUB's Department of Finance Bahi Shahjahan, Assistant Professor Kazi Nur Alam, BICM Assistant Professor Md Habibullah, FCCA, Assistant Professor Dr Tamanna Islam and Lecturer Imran Mahmud were also present.
Various sessions of the programme were conducted by BICM Assistant Professor Md Habibullah, FCCA, Assistant Professor Dr Tamanna Islam and Lecturer Imran Mahmud, covering issues related to investment in the capital market.
BICM regularly organises training programmes and workshops on various capital market-related topics for students of public and private universities. The institute said such initiatives aim to encourage students to participate in the capital market, increase investment awareness and enhance their professional skills and future career prospects.
