BICM holds investment workshop at Rajshahi University

The Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) organised an investment education program titled "Investment in Capital Market" for female students of the Faculty of Business Studies and the Department of Economics at Rajshahi University. The program was held in the conference room of the university's Dean's Complex.
The program was inaugurated by the university's Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Dr. Mohammad Main Uddin, as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included Professor Dr. M. Faridul Islam, former Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, and Assistant Professor Kashfia Sharmin of BICM. Professor Mohammad Shariful Islam, Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), also attended. The event was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Professor Dr. A S M Kamruzzaman, and hosted by Dr. Mohammad Zahid Hossain, Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Faculty members from various departments of the Faculty of Business Studies, including Professor Rakibul Islam, Head of the Department of Banking and Insurance, were also present.
The sessions were conducted by BICM's Assistant Professors Kashfia Sharmin, S. M. Kalbeen Salima, and Lecturer Imran Mahmud.
BICM regularly organises training programs and workshops on capital market-related topics for students across public and private universities. Today's program at Rajshahi University was part of this ongoing initiative to enhance financial literacy and investment knowledge among students.
