Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) held its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday (1 August).

The AGM of BGCCI, one of the largest bilateral Chamber operating in Bangladesh, was held at Sheraton, Dhaka. 

It was participated by BGCCI executive board and a large number of members, reads a press release.

Achim Tröster, ambassador of Germany to Bangladesh also participated in the AGM. 
BGCCI President Thomas Hoffmann, welcomed the members of BGCCI and thanked them for attending the AGM.

He presented the highlights of BGCCI's activities during 2021, the Annual Report was proposed by Omar Sadat and Seconded by Anwar Shahid, two prominent members.  

The Senior Vice President of BGCCI Tarun Patwary, presented the Audited Financial Report for the year 2021. 

The financial report was proposed by Anwar Shahid and Seconded by Depok Kumar Baral two important members. 
 
The AGM finalised the Auditor for 2022 and selected reputed Hoda Vasi Chowdhury and Co. 

It was proposed by M Maksud and was Seconded by Asif Ariff Tabani two valuable members.
 
Ibnul Wara, Vice President of BGCCI and the other office bearers responded to the questions raised in the open discussion. At the end, Muin Uddin Mazumder, senior vice president of BGCCI gave Vote of Thanks.
