BASIC Bank holds 673rd board meeting
The 673rd Board of Directors meeting of state-owned BASIC Bank Limited was held on Wednesday, 05 December 2025, at the bank's board room at its Head Office in Dhaka's capital.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of BASIC Bank, presided over the meeting.
The director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Dr Nahid Hossain; the Director and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, Dr Md Abdul Khaleque Khan (Freedom Fighter); the director, Md M Latif Bhuiyan, the director and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Md Rafiqul Islam, the Managing Director and CEO, Md Quamruzzaman Khan, and the Company Secretary, Md Hasan Imam, were present at the meeting.
In the meeting, the board made some business and strategic decisions regarding the bank's continued growth and development.
