Banglalink unveils new roaming pack for global travellers

Banglalink has introduced a new international roaming package that allows customers to purchase roaming services in Bangladeshi Taka, eliminating the need for international payment methods.
The service covers 50 countries, offering greater convenience for Bangladeshis travelling abroad.
Previously, customers needed international cards to activate roaming. Now, they can use mobile balance in local currency.
Customers can easily activate the roaming service through the 'MyBL' app, choosing from multiple packages tailored to their travel duration and communication needs.
Banglalink launched the service at its head office, 'Tiger's Den', in Dhaka. CEO Johann Busse, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman, Marketing Operations Director Mehedi Al Amin, and other senior officials attended the event.
"Staying connected while traveling is very important. But not everyone can access international payment services. To address this, we launched this new initiative to make our service more accessible and user-friendly for our customers," said Mehedi Al Amin, Marketing Operations Director of Banglalink.
Millions of Bangladeshis travel abroad annually. This service offers uninterrupted connectivity, eliminating reliance on foreign SIMs.
This initiative shows Banglalink's customer-centric approach and commitment to innovation, ensuring that distance never becomes a barrier to communication.
