Banglalink launches ‘rider’s pack’ for delivery, ride-sharing partners
Delivery riders and ride-sharing partners play an important role in supporting people's evolving digital lifestyles, keeping cities moving around the clock through transport and urgent deliveries.
To support them, Banglalink has launched a dedicated bundle offer called "Rider's Pack", aimed at riders who depend on mobile connectivity to earn their daily livelihoods.
Priced at Tk499, the pack offers 20GB of internet and 300 minutes with a validity of 30 days. Banglalink said the package also includes tailored benefits suited to the nature of delivery and ride-sharing work.
Under the offer, users will receive data-free access to platforms essential to their work, including Uber, foodpanda, Pathao, Foodi and Google Maps, along with rider versions of the apps, for up to 10GB of usage. The offer will initially be available in Dhaka and Chattogram through the MyBL app, the operator said.
Banglalink said riders rely heavily on stable mobile data for navigation, order management and communication, and that disruptions can affect both time and income.
The operator said the Rider's Pack is intended to make connectivity more predictable and dependable for riders' work and personal needs. The package will be introduced in phases, beginning with major urban centres where app-based services are most active, it added.
"Delivery riders and ride-sharing partners keep our cities moving from early morning until late at night. Recognising their role, Banglalink has introduced the Rider's Pack to support their work and everyday lives through reliable connectivity. As a people-first brand rooted in care, this initiative reflects Banglalink's commitment to supporting livelihoods and ensuring riders stay connected when it matters most," said Kazi Mahboob Hassan, chief marketing officer of Banglalink.
