Banglalink appoints new Deputy CEO

Jahrat Adib Chowdhury has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) of Banglalink, the country's leading innovative digital operator.
This appointment marks a significant milestone in the company's journey as a digital frontrunner in Bangladesh.
Jahrat first joined Banglalink in 2014 as Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary. With over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors, she has played a pivotal role in transforming Banglalink from a telecom operator into Bangladesh's most innovative digital operator. She has led several strategically critical projects for the company, including the asset-light model and initiatives focused on regulatory compliance.
In her new role as Deputy CEO, Jahrat will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape Banglalink's strategic direction while striving to unlock new opportunities for the country. In addition to her current legal affairs, corporate governance, and ESG responsibilities, she will contribute to advancing Banglalink's digital financial services goals.
