Bangladesh Honda launches adventure-style NX200 motorcycle
Bangladesh Honda Private Limited (BHL) has unveiled the all-new Honda NX200, an adventure-style motorcycle aimed at touring, daily commuting and long-distance riding.
Inspired by Honda's global adventure lineup, the NX200 features a robust design, upgraded engine performance and rider-focused technology, expanding the adventure-touring segment in the local motorcycle market.
Speaking at the launch, Minoru Kato, chief officer of motorcycle and power products operations at Honda Motor Co Ltd, Japan, thanked customers and partners for their continued support. He noted that Honda has produced more than 500 million motorcycles globally, while BHL has sold around 550,000 units in Bangladesh since 2012. He also said Bangladesh Honda is now recognised as a global production base and supports international exports.
BHL Managing Director and CEO Susumu Morisawa said Honda remains committed to delivering affordable, reliable and technologically advanced mobility solutions. He added that BHL plans to introduce more models with enhanced features and riding performance, and confirmed that the NX200 will be exported to Mexico in collaboration with Honda's global operations.
Chief Marketing Officer Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman said the NX200 is designed to offer control, comfort and performance across varied terrain. The motorcycle is powered by a 184.4cc PGM-FI engine producing 16.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 15.1 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), an assist and slipper clutch, and a 4.2-inch full digital TFT display with USB Type-C charging.
Other features include all-LED lighting, high ground clearance and an ergonomically designed seat. BHL also introduced a new Honda helmet developed in collaboration with KYT at the event.
The Honda NX200 will be available from 20 December 2025 at Honda Exclusive Authorised Dealer showrooms nationwide in Radiant Red Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black colours.
