Bangladesh firms participate in Texworld New York 2026
Bangladesh is showcasing its growing strength in textiles and apparel at Texworld New York 2026, with 15 companies participating in one of the most important textile sourcing exhibitions on the US East Coast.
The three-day event is being held from 20 to 22 January 2026 at the Javits Convention Center, bringing together global buyers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
With support from the Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), 13 Bangladeshi companies are exhibiting under the Bangladesh pavilion, while two others are participating independently, bringing the total number of Bangladeshi exhibitors to 15.
On the opening day, the Bangladesh pavilion recorded steady footfall from international buyers, many of whom showed strong interest in value-added fabrics, eco-friendly finishes, and flexible production capabilities suited to rapidly changing market demands.
Rakibul Islam, Director of Six Season Global Business Ltd., expressed satisfaction with the response from buyers.
'There was a great response on the first day. Around five buyers are seriously considering doing business with us. We appreciate the efforts of the organisers, and it was encouraging to engage directly with international buyers,' he said.
Industry participants noted that Texworld New York continues to serve as an important platform for Bangladesh's textile and apparel sector, which is already globally recognised for ready-made garment and fabric exports. The fair provides opportunities to build new partnerships, explore sustainable sourcing options, and showcase innovation through direct, face-to-face engagement.
