Bangladesh Finance and UIU sign MoU to boost graduate employability and innovation
Bangladesh Finance PLC and United International University (UIU) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance graduate employability, foster research and innovation, and expand financial literacy initiatives.
The partnership will link academia with industry through skill development workshops, career training, internships, and participation in job fairs for UIU students. Faculty members will also benefit from joint training programmes, research collaborations, and financial literacy campaigns.
Both institutions will explore opportunities in startup financing, CSR projects, and innovation mentorship, alongside exclusive financial benefits for UIU alumni and employees.
Md Kyser Hamid, Managing Director and CEO of Bangladesh Finance, said, "This partnership reflects our vision to empower future leaders by bridging the gap between education and industry. Together with UIU, we aim to create a stronger talent pipeline and drive positive change in society."
Prof. Dr. Md Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of UIU, added, "UIU is committed to preparing students for the real world, and this MoU with Bangladesh Finance will open new doors of opportunity in employability, research, and innovation. It is a step forward in shaping future-ready graduates."
