BADC chairman inaugurates warehouses in Dinajpur, Thakurgaon

Md Ruhul Amin Khan, chairman (Grade-1) of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), visited various operational wings of the corporation in Dinajpur and Thakurgaon between 17 and 21 September 2025.
During the visit, he inaugurated a newly constructed 200-metric-tonne capacity seed warehouse in Dinajpur under the Partner Project, and a 2,100-metric-tonne capacity fertiliser warehouse in Thakurgaon under the Fertiliser Project. He also took part in a grow-out test of jute seeds.
Speaking on the occasion, the BADC chairman said the organisation has been working relentlessly to ensure timely supply of quality seeds of various crops and non-urea fertilisers to farmers. He emphasised that farmers must get access to seeds and fertilisers at fair prices and without harassment, underscoring BADC's responsibility in this regard.
