Asgar Ali Hospital observes World Stroke Day
Asgar Ali Hospital observed World Stroke Day by raising awareness about stroke prevention and timely treatment. The global theme for this year was "Every Minute Counts."
Emphasising the importance of immediate medical attention, the hospital's Neurology and Neurosurgery Consultants stated that Asgar Ali Hospital's Stroke Centre remains operational 24 hours a day to provide emergency care to stroke patients.
They highlighted that if a stroke patient receives treatment at a stroke-ready hospital within the first four hours of the onset of symptoms, the risk of long-term complications can be significantly reduced.
