Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd
The 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd was held virtually on Saturday, 28 September 2024, through a digital platform. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder.
Key participants included Independent Director Barrister Fida M. Kamal, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Mr Md. Azimuddin Biswas, who served as an observer, external auditors, a representative from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), and representatives from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). Shareholders and concerned officers also attended the meeting.
During the AGM, shareholders approved the audited accounts for the financial year 2023 and a cash dividend of 30% against the face value of each share, which is Tk 10.
