AIBL starts three-day investment management training
A three-day training course titled "Investment Management" began at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
Mohammad Rafat Ullah Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, inaugurated the programme as chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Khan said efficient investment management based on Shariah principles is important for the bank's sustainable growth and for maintaining investment and asset quality. He urged officials to strengthen professional skills, improve expertise in risk assessment and management, and implement timely investment strategies.
The programme was chaired by Md Abdur Rahim Duary, principal of AIBTI. S M Zulkar Nayen, senior assistant vice president, and other senior officials were also present.
A total of 50 investment officers from different branches are participating in the training, the bank said, adding that the programme aims to improve professional capacity and strengthen investment management practices.
