AIBL holds school banking conference in Khulna

A School Banking Conference was held at Khulna to inculcate the tendency to save among students.
Under the guidance of Bangladesh Bank and the initiative of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, students of 45 institutions participated in the occasion. A day-long conference was held on Thursday, February 27, at Hotel Tiger Garden Khulna, with the participation of 49 Scheduled Banks of the District.
Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Khulna Md Sawkatul Alam and Director of Bangladesh Bank Khulna S. M. Kamaluzzaman Kamal were both Chief Guest and Special Guest, respectively.
The Banks' Executive Vice President and Khulna Zonal Head Mohammad Ullah, Director of Bangladesh Bank Financial Inclusion Department Md, presided over the occasion. Iqbal Mohsin, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank Khulna Sheikh Sahriar Rahman, Jahanara Khatun, District Education Officer Md. Shamsul Haque and the Principal of Khulna Collectorate School and College, M. Abul Bashar Molla, were present.
Among others, the Executive Vice President of the Bank, AKM Amjad Hossain, Md Ferdous Hassan, Senior Assistant Vice President Sheikh Asadul Haque, managers and senior officers of the participating banks, teachers, and students of the institutions were present at the conference.
A quiz competition was organised with school students, and prizes were distributed at the event. School bags and gift items were also distributed to the students.
