Agrani Bank holds Meet the borrower and managers conference in Comilla

Agrani Bank PLC organised a "Meet the Borrower and Managers' Conference" under its Cumilla Circle to implement business objectives for 2025 and strengthen loan recovery efforts. The event brought together regional heads, corporate branch heads, and branch managers.

The conference was held on Saturday, 30 August, in Cumilla, with the bank's Managing Director, Md Anwarul Islam, attending as the chief guest. During the "Meet the Borrower" session, defaulting clients repaid Tk 47.5 million in overdue loans in cash.

Deputy Managing Directors Md Abul Bashar and Rubana Parveen also addressed the programme. The conference was presided over by Md Atikur Rahman Siddique, General Manager of Cumilla Circle, and attended by Md Ikhtiar Uddin, General Manager (Audit).

Speaking at the event, Managing Director Md Anwarul Islam emphasised the importance of recovering classified loans and provided directives regarding CMSME loan disbursement, deposit mobilisation, remittance collection, and settlement of lawsuits. He also instructed regional and corporate branch heads, along with managers, to achieve all business targets for 2025.
