ADN Telecom declares 10% cash dividend at 21st AGM

ADN Telecom Limited has conducted its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Lakeshore Hotel, Dhaka. This event marked the company's first hybrid AGM since its stock exchange listing, combining in-person attendance with virtual participation through a dedicated online portal.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Asif Mahmood, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by Directors Mr. Md. Moinul Islam, Mr. Md. Mahfuz Ali Sohail, and Mr. Waqar Ahmad Choudhury; Independent Director Mr. Md. Maruf; Managing Director Mr. Henry Hilton; Honorable Advisors Mr. Md. Ziaul Haque Khondker and Mr. Shahriar Akbar Chowdhury; and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin, FCA. The proceedings were conducted by Company Secretary Mr. Md. Monir Hossain, FCS, with a welcome speech delivered by Managing Director Mr. Henry Hilton.

During the AGM, the company's activities and audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2023-24 were reviewed in detail. The Chairman, Managing Director, and Chief Financial Officer addressed shareholders' queries and provided an overview of the company's performance.

Chairman Mr. Asif Mahmood underscored the company's significant profit growth, which facilitated the declaration of a 10% cash dividend. He expressed optimism about ADN Telecom's continued profitability and reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing shareholder value in the future.

The meeting witnessed active participation from shareholders, guests, well-wishers, and senior officials, both in-person and virtually. Shareholders provided valuable suggestions and positive feedback, commending the company's initiatives and overall performance.

Key resolutions, including the approval of the audited financial statements for 2023-24 and the 10% cash dividend payment, were unanimously approved by the shareholders.

In his closing remarks, Company Secretary Mr. Md. Monir Hossain expressed heartfelt gratitude to all shareholders, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and well-wishers for their enthusiastic participation and unwavering support, which contributed to the success of the meeting.
