AAAB hosts ai-powered advertising session with google
The Advertising Agencies Association of Bangladesh (AAAB), in partnership with Aleph, hosted an exclusive in-person session on AI-powered advertising with Google for senior leadership of AAAB member agencies on Saturday, 10 January, 2026 at the Aleph office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The closed-door session was designed for agency owners, chief executive officers and senior decision-makers.
The session was led by Tara Yoon, Google Ads business lead for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, who brings nearly two decades of experience in digital marketing and has led sales strategy and ecosystem growth for Google's advertising solutions across emerging markets.
Representing AAAB at the session were General Secretary Syed Ahsanul Apon and Joint Secretary M A Maruf. Aleph was represented by Country Director for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Ehsanul Hoque and Partner Director for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Ahsanur Rahman.
A total of 22 advertising agencies participated in the session, representing a mix of established full-service agencies and digitally focused firms. The participation reflected the breadth and growing maturity of Bangladesh's advertising and media landscape. The format enabled focused discussion and peer-level exchange among industry leaders.
During the session, Tara Yoon shared insights into how artificial intelligence is reshaping advertising through smarter media planning, performance optimisation, creative effectiveness and measurement within Google's advertising ecosystem. She highlighted how agencies can leverage AI-powered tools to drive efficiency, scalability and measurable business outcomes in an increasingly competitive market.
The discussion also explored broader perspectives on the evolving advertising landscape and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session with participants.
AAAB said the initiative aligns with its ongoing efforts to strengthen industry capability, leadership readiness and future-focused knowledge across Bangladesh's advertising ecosystem.
