MBL will facilitate the collection of life insurance premiums from the customers of National Life Insurance.

MBL inks deal with National Life Insurance

Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL) has recently signed an agreement with National Life Insurance Company Ltd to facilitate cash collection from customers.

The agreement was signed by Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of the bank, and Md Kazim Uddin, CEO of National Life Insurance, at the bank's head office in Dhaka, said a press release.

As per the agreement, MBL will facilitate the collection of life insurance premiums from customers of National Life Insurance through Real Time Online Banking System; Mobile Financial Service, "MyCash"; Digital Banking Apps (MBL Rainbow); Agent Banking, and other delivery channels.

Additional Managing Director, Mati ul Hasan; Deputy Managing Directors, GWM Mortaza, Adil Raihan and Shamim Ahmed; Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) and Head of HRD, Mohammad Iqbal Rezwan; Head of Mobile Banking Division (Acting), Md Mahedi Hasan FCA; Assistant Vice President and Head of ILM Division (Acting), Tapon James Rozario; Deputy Managing Director, Md Khasru Chowdhury; SEVP and CFO, Probir Chandra Das FCA; and Kazi Md Mohsin, from National Life Insurance were present in the signing ceremony along with other senior officials of both organizations.
