Gazi Golam Ashria new chairman of Jamuna Bank
Ashria is one of the directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry
Gazi Golam Ashria has been elected as the chairman of the Board of Directors of Jamuna Bank Limited for the next one year on Thursday.
Ashria, the youngest son of Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, was born in 1981. His mother Hasina Gazi is the mayor of Tarabo municipality, Narayanganj.
His elder brother Gazi Golam Murtoza is a sponsor director of Jamuna Bank and a director of Bangladesh Cricket Board.

Ashria completed his graduation in Economics from Saskatchewan, Canada. He joined his family business in 2001.
He is the director of Content Matters Limited, Progressive Properties Limited, Gazi Renewable Energy Limited, Gazi Networks Limited, and Gazi Communication Limited.
Besides, he is currently serving as the chairman at Gazi Television Limited (GTV).
As deputy managing director of Gazi Group, Ashria is also looking after the businesses of Gazi Tyres, Gazi Auto Tyres, Star Rubber Industries, Gazi Trade International, Gazi Rubber Plantation, Gazi Rubber Processing Plant and Gazi Enterprise.
Moreover, he is one of the directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
He is also involved with Gazi Group Cricketers, Rupgonj Tigers, Gazi Tyre Cricket Academy.
