Chairman of Sammilito Islami Bank resigns citing 'personal reasons'
When asked about the reason for stepping down, he said, “I resigned entirely due to personal reasons.”
Mohammad Ayub Miah has resigned from his position as the chairman of the board of directors of the state-owned Sammilito Islami Bank citing "personal reasons".
He submitted his resignation letter to the Ministry of Finance today (16 March), he confirmed to The Business Standard.
"I submitted my resignation letter to the Ministry of Finance this morning. I have also sent another copy of the resignation letter to the governor," Ayub Miah said.
When asked about the reason for stepping down, he said, "I resigned entirely due to personal reasons."
