Sylhet civil aviation staff demonstrate against proposed airport security force

Officials and employees of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) staged demonstrations today (17 March) to push home their four-point demand, including the cancellation of a proposal to form the 'Bangladesh Airport Security Force'.
They held the protest on the airport road and held a meeting in this regard in the morning.
The protesters threatened that they would go for greater movement if their logical demands were not met immediately.
They put forward four-point demands
1. The recruitment of manpower from the Air Force in all posts including chairman at all the airports and CAAB upon deputation should be cancelled and stopped.
2. The unlawful proposal 'Airport Security Force' of the CAAB should be cancelled immediately.
3. The ongoing recruitment process by CAAB should be completed and the notification of recruitment of manpower should be given as per the demand to increase the manpower of the authority.
4. The officers and employees appointed in 2022 should be made permanent immediately.
