Riyadh Air eyes Dhaka route, Saudi envoy says

Saudi Arabia's emerging national carrier, Riyadh Air, is keen to launch flight operations to Dhaka, Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Zafer H Bin Abiyah said today (12 April), indicating a potential expansion of air connectivity between the two countries.
He shared the development during a courtesy meeting with Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam and State Minister Rashiduzzaman Millat at the Secretariat, according to an official press release.
During the meeting, the ambassador said Riyadh Air is planning to establish a presence in Bangladesh and begin flights to Dhaka.
Welcoming the proposal, the state minister encouraged Saudi authorities to consider expanding services to other cities, including Sylhet and Chattogram.
The minister also stressed the need to improve service quality for Bangladeshi passengers travelling on Saudi carriers. In response, the ambassador assured that efforts would be made to enhance passenger experience in the near future.
