Private terminal operator Saif Powertec Ltd has provided healthcare equipment for Covid-19 infected people in Cox's Bazar.
On Saturday, the company handed over healthcare equipments including trolleys, canals, masks, regulators, flow meters, 50 oxygen cylinders, 50 sets of PPE for doctors, 2,000 face masks, 100 hand gloves, 25 eye shields and two high flow oxygen nasal canola to the representatives of the Cox's Bazar Local Government Department.
"My organisation has already donated to the Prime Minister's Fund to address the coronavirus crisis. The donation programme is part of an ongoing initiative," Saif Powertec Managing Director Tarafdar Md Ruhul Amin said.
"Besides, we have been providing food and incentives to the distressed workers of Chattogram port. We have also given relief, hand gloves, hand sanitiser, mask etc. to the helpless people in different parts of the country," he added.
