Muntassir Mamoon shifted to CMH
Earlier on May 3, the Dhaka University professor was taken to Mugda General Hospital in the capital with symptoms of the Covid-19
Eminent historian Professor Muntassir Mamun has been shifted to the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH) hospital from Mugda General Hospital.
"His condition is currently stable. But he is coughing more frequently," Mugda General Hospital's Covid-19 Team focal person Dr Mahbubur Rahman told The Business Standard.
"The condition of a Covid-19 patient can get better or deteriorate at any time. That's why the hospital authorities informed the prime minister that they want to shift him (Muntassir Mamun) to CMH, and the PM instructed to do so."

Earlier on May 3, the Dhaka University professor was taken to Mugda General Hospital in the capital with symptoms of the Covid-19.
He was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus on the next day.
