Grameen Communications launches 3-month relief prog for 300 families
They are providing this assistance to the people who living from hand to mouth and have yet to receive any sort of food assistance

Grameen Communications has launched a three-month-long food assistance programme for 1500 people from 300 families in different districts who suffer from Coronavirus shutdown.
They have already provided food assistance among 122 people of 40 families in Thakurgaon, Taraganj upazila of Nilphamari, Sariakandi in Bogura, Gangachara in Rangpur, Ulipur in Kurigram, Kaliganj in Satkhira and Sarishabari of Jamalpur.
The company is providing this food assistance to the people who living from hand to mouth and have yet to receive any sort of food assistance, said a press release.
Under the Food Assistance Program, relief items will also be provided to around 300 people of 60 families this week.
They will provide relief goods for two weeks which contain 5kilograms of rice and two kilograms of potatoes per person as well as 1.5 kgs of lentils, 1kg Salt, 1-liter edible oil and one piece of soap for each family.
The government has extended general holidays till 25 and shut down public transport to contain the spread of Covid-19 infection.
