Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury attended the namaz-e-janaza of former minister Mohammed Nasim today at Banani graveyard after recovering from the novel coronavirus infection.

"Dr Zafrullah wanted to attend the funeral of Mohammad Nasim when he got to know that he had been recovered from Covid-19," said Dr Muhibullah Khandaker, coordinator of the GR Covid-19 Dot Blot project, according to a post from Gonoshasthaya Kendra's verified Facebook page.

Former health minister Mohammad Nasim passed away in the capital's Bangladesh Specialised Hospital on June 13.
