LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Md Tazul Islam on Monday urged all official concerned to implement the development work after maintaining proper safety and hygiene during the pandemic coronavirus situation.

"The district-level executive engineers are working amid the coronavirus crisis. Though there have been some setback during COvid-19 situation and if we work together, it will be possible to overcome the disaster," he said while talking at a video conference with the executive engineers of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) of  64 districts, at his residence in the city.

The Minister took the initiative to hold a video conference for discussion the issues related to the progressing work of the Ministry.

He also urged all to implement all the pending work properly after ensuring quality work.

Expressing satisfaction over the implementation of 75-80 percent work of ADP (annual development work) in most of the district, Tazul said hundred percent work will be done before the stipulated time.

During the conference, the executive engineers of LGED informed the progress of their works and the problems they are facing now for implementation of work.
