12 members of a freedom fighter’s family test Covid-19 positive
“Two members of the family were already in isolation after being infected with coronavirus”
Twelve members of a freedom fighter's family diagnosed with Covid-19 at Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
Moshrat Farkhanda, resident medical officer of Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex, said, "Two members of the family were already in isolation after being infected with coronavirus."
"On May 4, another ten members of the family tested positive," she added.

She said a health official also tested positive on the same day.
The number of infection in the district rose to 57, including several doctors and health officials.
According to recent data provided by the civil surgeon office, so far, some 1,277 samples were tested among 1,678 samples collected from the district.
Two of the 57 infected patients have died while 23 left isolation after recovery.
