A total of 11,978 armed force officials and their family members have tested positive with the novel coronavirus so far. 

However, 11,194 of them recovered from the virus, while 158 died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) from the deadly infection till September 19, said a press release issued by Inter Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) on Saturday.

Currently, 626 people are undergoing treatment at CMH.

In the last week, from September 12-18, some 647 armed forces members and their family members were found infected with the virus while 10 including one current army personnel died.
