The UK's NHS would be ready to offer booster jabs from September, Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi said.
But there is no decision yet on whether to offer boosters to over-50s in the UK, he added, reports the BBC.
UK recorded its lowest weekly number of deaths involving coronavirus since last September.
