Suzuki Gixxer 2020 series launched in Bangladesh

The Rancon Motorbikes Ltd has officially launched Gixxer and Gixxer SF – two brand new editions in 2020 of the globally renowned motorcycle brand Suzuki.

The launching ceremony was held virtually on Tuesday, and was broadcast live from the Suzuki's official Facebook page, according to a press release.

Both the Gixxer and Gixxer SF models have two variants – one is a FI and ABS version, and the other one is carburetor and disc version.

Paired with Japanese technology, both the series have 155cc engine capable of generating 14.1PS of power.

Rancon Motorbikes Ltd CEO Quazi Ashiq Ur Rahman, Head of Sales KM Touhidur Rahman and Head of Marketing Mohammad Shams Uddin were present at the event among others.

Masayoshi Ito, executive general manager of Motorcycle Operations at Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan, also appeared in the live Facebook session as a special guest.

Quazi Ashiq ur Rahman, said, "Advanced technology to provide pure fun of riding to the user, and continuing the Suzuki's glorious tradition as well as the diverse needs of the buyers have been emphasised."

The Gixxer model will be available in metallic sonic silver, metallic triton blue and glass sparkle black colours, and the Gixxer SF model will be available in metallic sonic silver and glass sparkle black.

Besides, the MotoGP Special Edition of the Gixxer SF will also be available in a metallic triton blue colour.

The special starting market price of the Suzuki all new Gixxer model starts from Tk219,950 and the special starting market price of the all new Gixxer SF model starts from Tk259,950, read the press statement.

The new models of the Gixxer series are already available in all Suzuki showrooms across the country.
