Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today morning arrested a young man with 254 cans of beer and 24 bottles of whiskey from Teknaf in Cox's Bazar.

The arrestee is Mohammad Sadek, 19, from Teknaf sadar's Boroitoli. He is the son of one Mohammad Ismail.

Acting on a tip-off, the elite force unit conducted a drive and arrested Sadek from the Chaillatali bridge on Cox's Bazar-Teknaf highway and seized the illegal liquor, said Lieutenant Mirza Shahed Mahtab, RAB-15 Teknaf (CPC-1) Company Commander.
