Viral X post: What is Defence Pakistan?
A post on X from the account named "Defence Pakistan" went viral yesterday (5 February) regarding the demolishing of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Dhanmondi 32 residence in the capital.
"Bangladeshi revolutionaries have demolished Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's house in Dhanmondi-32, the very place where he conspired with India to break Pakistan. With this, not a single remnant of Mujibur Rahman remains in Bangladesh," reads the post of Defence Pakistan.
Many social media users assumed the post to be an official statement from the Pakistani defence establishment.

However, the X account "Defence Pakistan" is not affiliated with the Pakistani government or military. A closer look at its bio reveals that the account belongs to a self-proclaimed defence enthusiast and journalist, who also identifies as an "Ultra Nationalist."
