A viral video claiming to be showing an Indian fighter jet being shot down by Pakistan is actually a scene taken from a video game named Arma-3, Rumor Scanner reports.
In an investigation, the fact-checking website found a video on a Youtube Channel named 'Milsim Merkava', which has similarity with the video under investigation.
The caption, description and hashtags of the Youtube video had indications that the video belongs to Arma-3, and does not portray Pakistan Army as shooting down Indian fighter jet, Rumor Scanner added.

In the disclaimer of the video, the Youtube channel 'Milsim Merkava' said that all the videos of the page were from the Arma-3 video game, which had been created by the imagination of the developers, not resembling any real event, Rumor scanner added.
Upon analysing the Youtube channel, it was found that they regularly publish such gaming videos, Rumor Scanner further said.
The video has been published by various media outlets.
