Under-construction embankment collapse kills child in Bhola
The incident took place in Ramnewaz fish ghat of the village in the evening, Monpura Police Station Officer in-charge Ahasan Kabir said.

An eight-year-old was killed in Bhola's Monpura after an under-construction embankment of the Water Development Board collapsed on him today (30 May) amid heavy rainfall.
The deceased child has been identified as Omar Faruk (8), son of Monir Hossain of Kulagazir Taluk village in the upazila, said police.
The incident took place in Ramnewaz fish ghat of the village in the evening, Monpura Police Station Officer in-charge Ahasan Kabir said.
"I think the child went to play on the embankment. Due to heavy rain, the embankment collapsed, burying him," said the OC.
According to locals, Faruk went out of his home yesterday (29 May) evening amid inclement weather. His body was later found under the collapsed embankment today.
