Trawler with fisherman's body washes ashore at Kuakata beach 13 days after vessel capsized
According to police sources, earlier on 25 July, a fishing trawler named FB Sagorkonna, carrying 15 fishermen, capsized around 75 kilometres off the last buoy in the Bay of Bengal.

A sunken trawler with the body of a fisherman washed ashore on Kuakata beach in Patuakhali this morning (7 August), near the Tourism Park area of the beach.
The deceased has been identified as Idris Hawlader, 50. His body was found inside the trawler.
Confirming the matter, Kuakata River Police Outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Moniruzzaman said, "The body along with the trawler has been recovered. The victim's family has identified him."
"The body of Idris was handed over to his family, and all legal formalities are being carried out," the SI added.
According to police sources, earlier on 25 July, a fishing trawler named FB Sagorkonna, carrying 15 fishermen, capsized around 75 kilometres off the last buoy in the Bay of Bengal. Ten fishermen were rescued in a floating state after drifting in the sea for four days.
On 1 August, the body of another fisherman, Nazrul Islam, was found washed ashore at the Meera Bari point of the beach. Three fishermen from the trawler remain missing.
