Travel ban on ex-RAB DG Harun, family members
A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) director general (DG) Md Harun-or-Rashid, his wife Fateha Parvin Luna, and their two daughters — Fahmida Farah Fabia and Nusrat Jarin Adrita.
The order was issued today (6 November) by Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Foyez following an application by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Court bench assistant Md Riaz Hossain confirmed the development.
Earlier, ACC Assistant Director Md Imran Akon filed the petition seeking the travel ban.

According to the application, an inquiry officer has been appointed to investigate allegations that Harun-or-Rashid amassed and laundered illegal wealth worth around Tk1,000 crore.
Reliable sources have informed investigators that Harun and his family members are currently absconding within the country and may attempt to flee abroad at any time.
The ACC said the travel ban is necessary to ensure a proper investigation and prevent them from leaving the country.
