Three-day int’l tourism fair begins

Over 50 local and global organisations are participating in the fair at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka

The three-day international tourism fair titled "US-Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart 2025" began at the Ball Room of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital today (6 February). 

High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh Mohd Shuhada Othman inaugurated the 20th edition of the fair, organised by The Bangladesh Monitor.

Over 50 organisations from the UAE, Iran, Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Jordan, India, and Bangladesh are showcasing their products and services with special offers for visitors.

Participating organisations represent national tourism organisations, airlines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, tour operators, financial institutions, and others involved in travel and tourism.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines is offering 15% discounts on airfare for travel to 10 destinations in their international network. 

Online travel agency Firsttrip is offering one free air ticket against the purchase of one to any domestic destination on US-Bangla Airlines and Air Astra. 

Other participants are also offering discounts on air tickets, tour packages, hotel and resort rooms, etc.

Leading private sector carrier US-Bangla Airlines is supporting the event as the title sponsor. The tourism fair is powered by the leading online travel agency Firsttrip and travel company Akij Air. 

The national carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines and Mutual Trust Bank have joined as the airline partner and banking partner of the event respectively.

US-Bangla Airlines Dhaka Travel Mart 2025 will end on 8 February. 

One can visit the fair on payment of Tk50 as an entry fee from 10am to 8pm every day. 

Visitors will have the opportunity to win 45 exciting prizes from a raffle draw on entry tickets. Raffle prizes include return air tickets to domestic and international destinations, accommodation at international hotels and resorts at home and abroad, and lunch and dinner at star hotels in the country.
