There will be no street children in society: Disaster Management adviser
Orphaned, homeless children deserve a normal life, he says

Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk-E-Azam has said there will be no street children in society, so the term "street children" will not exist.
"Every child has the right to a safe home and a bright future. Orphaned, homeless, and helpless children deserve to live normal lives. It is everyone's duty to provide them with food, clothes, education, and shelter," he said during an event organised by the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) today (18 April).
The event, held at the Metropolitan Shooting Club in Dampara Police Lines, aimed to help reintegrate street children into society. It included a discussion and the distribution of gifts.
CMP Commissioner Hasib Aziz led the event, with special guests including Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid, Chattogram City Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain, Divisional Commissioner Md Ziauddin, Brig Gen Md Shamshul Alam, and other officials.
Before the event, a meal was served to the street children, and after that, gifts were given to 160 children.
The guests at the event encouraged everyone, especially wealthy individuals, to help reintegrate street children into society.
